Dear Mike,

I am sorry you are having so much trouble with your dentures. I always do my best to deliver dentures that are comfortable, and since you said you are ok with how the denture “look”, maybe just adjusting them to fit right or adding some implant to hold the denture in would work? As far as you live I would hate to waste your time without having a good plan. I suggest you call my office and we can talk some cost and hopefully you can come down to have it corrected.
The good news is that usually the top is easier to fix than the bottom ones. So, if the bottom ones are ok , then I am optimistic!

i unfortunately had to have full dentures 2 years ago. i went to one the same day clinics because i was told they were good. i unfortunately didn’t do all the research i should have done before i decided to go with the dentures. to be honest i hate them . im a fairly young guy for dentures and they never fit right. im always self conscious about talking to people and especially smiling. havent been out to a restaurant in public since.they look good to look at but the function is awful. i cant hardly eat anything with out the tops falling down. i have had them relined and adjusted several times. the upper palate makes me gag still 2 years later and after wearing them all day by the end of the night i cant wait to get them out they are so uncomfortable. i live about 8 hours away from you so i was wondering if you could at least give me a ball park what it might cost to have your best replacement dentures and if there is any option of not having the palate and what that might cost? my insurance wont pay for this but i cant take it anymore… please help!! i dont mind the 8 hour drive and have 4 weeks vacation time coming next month so im ready to do something soon!! also how long would i need to stay there to take care of this?

In my office every patient is treatment planned in the same manner, organizing their dental condition into several phases. The first phase is the elimination of infections, and, of course, treatment of pain.
Swollen bleeding gums are an infection and very dangerous to your body’s overall health, but, since you are in pain, that is where we would start. Missing teeth, extra teeth, and misaligned teeth are 3rd priority.

hi there, i love reading all these comments and how you do dentistry. I have some questions regarding my family. My husbands bottom teeth are all loose, gums are swollen. My one daughter has three teeth that haven’t come down (she’s 24) my other daughter has one of her eyeteeth that that is coming in on the inside of her regular teeth, she probably needs braces. And I have a huge cavity on one of my back left upper (actually the last one) its starting to hurt alot. I would like help to decide which one is most important to work on first, am willing to drive.

I am sorry to hear about your accident. It sounds like you need to see a dentist as soon as possible. Teeth don’t just fall out, it sounds like there is some serious underlying gum disease that may have weakened the teeth, or significant decay. Either way, you need to see a dentist and make your health a priority. There are programs that can help you, but free dentistry does not really exist. I would be happy to give you a free consultation if that helps.

My 2 year old head butted me in the mouth last week and it knocked my two bottom teeth out, my teeth were NOT strong before this happened! Bad teeth run in my family so it was only a matter of time! Are there any Dentist that will fix my teeth for free? I dont want to walk around embarresed to smile at the age of 24:( Loosing my teeth would be the end of my smile! Please HELP ME!!

Good Morning Angelique. I hire people for many reasons, experience only being one component. Did you read the manual yet? It really depends what you want out of the job…do you want experience or money? If you do everything right and present yourself correctly then you should not have a problem getting a job, even without experience. Furthermore, you can get experience just about anywhere if you know how….check the blog, read the manual, and then contact me for some experience. IF you come to my office for experience and you don’t know the things I talk about in the manual then you probably won’t get “the job”, so make sure you are prepared. Good luck

That is very sad…You should not have to feel that way. I can do many things to help you. Everything from implants to support the denture to making a new one without implants to just trying to improve what you have. In all cases it is important that you feel better about your teeth.
My dentures do not look like dentures. They look like real teeth. Several of my high profile patients wear dentures and you would never know. It is entirely possible. Please feel free to call Lori and ask her for a quick look exam so I can give you a more detailed answer!

I am interested in knowing if you do any repair and update work on denture patients. I have had dentures for almost 17 years and I look horrible. I had to get dentures at the age of 24. The bone and dentures are worn down so much that you cannot see my teeth on the top and the bottom dentures just float. I looked at implants but I was wondering if you have ever done anything like this? I need to get this done asap to help with my self esteem.

It is impossible to give you a number as there are nearly infinite different scenarios. I would of course be able to give you a much more informative answer if you went through the complementary evaluation. One of the most important parts, if not the most important part, of a complete smile makeover is the consultation and the resulting “plan”. You need to know exactly where you are going and what to expect. That is my focus – giving you the smile you want and dream of, not a cookie cutter smile.

So, a complete smile makeover can range anywhere from under 5k to over 15k. It really depends.
With regards to time, the first visit would give me all the information I need to outline your plan with you. That takes only about 1 hour. Then, traditionally speaking, it can usually all be completed within 2 months and minimal visits!
